“To quote… ‘Movement is a starting point for wiring the brain for learning.’ And I see it every day with our students.”

I believe the children learn through movement: a calm body calms a mind and makes it ready to learn. My OT sessions are full of learning, movement and fun. We focus on the sensory system, integrating primitive reflexes and building up strength to help every child reach their maximum potential.

Children’s minds aren’t separate from their bodies – both need to work together for a child to thrive. In many ways, our children are better prepared than others for the work of the future, where the totality of their senses will be needed to come together to take in their environment, process information, and produce innovative solutions.
